Brandon - Breanainn

Brandon is a small village along the Dingle Peninsula at the base of Mount Brandon

On the summit of Mount Brandon can be found the remains of St. Brendan's oratory, cell and well. A yearly pilgrimage occurs to this point during the Lughnasa Festival held in the Cloghane and Brandon region. The views from the summit are spectacular so don't forget the camera! No words will be able to describe the views.

This area is also proud of its achievements, the area was awarded the Beatha Environmentl Quality Mark, an EU recognised quality mark for areas being managed in a sustainable way.
